GulfQuest To Offer Camps This Summer

The GulfQuest National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico will offer two experiential science, technology, engineering and mathematics-based summer camps in 2021. Treasures of the Gulf, on June 7-11, will allow campers to explore the history, natural wonders and cultural diversity of the Gulf of Mexico. In each session, students will learn stories about the gulf, conduct scientific experiments and create related crafts. Journeys of the Gulf, on July 19-23, will focus on the journeys that have been made on and to the Gulf of Mexico throughout history. Students will study aspects of maritime exploration and history and the challenges of navigating the waters of the gulf. Role-based team adventures will bring historic journeys and experiences to life.
