Hooked On Fairhope To Be Held June 13

The Hooked on Fairhope fishing tournament will be held on June 13 from daylight until 2 p.m. for ages 17 and under. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast. Registration includes entry to the 17-and-under division, an event goodie bag and lunch. Participants must be 17 or younger on the day of the event. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. The tournament focuses on teaching conservation, sportsmanship and the simple joy of unplugging. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded for both pier fishing and boat fishing divisions. Participants in either division may enter fish in the following categories: “Speckled Trout,” “White Trout,” “Redfish,” “Croaker,” “Flounder,” “Gafftop/Hardhead Catfish” and “Spanish Mackerel.”
