Mobile To Be Home To Surge Entertainment Center

NBC15 News recently reported that a portion of Bel Air Mall in Mobile is getting a facelift and being transformed into a Surge Entertainment Center, a franchise owned by former National Football League quarterback Drew Brees. The project is in the early stage of development, but the entertainment center is expected to be located on the part of the building where Belk once was. The centers vary in amenities depending on location, but according to Surge’s website, the Mobile location could see one or more of the following: laser tag, a bistro, bowling, an arcade, climbing features and a trampoline park. An official announcement has not been made, and it is not known when construction will be completed, but Surge Entertainment’s website has a “Coming Soon” tab for Mobile.
