MPRD Unveils 2026 Winter/Spring Activity Guide

The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) has released its latest Activity Guide, highlighting hundreds of events, activities and programs for Mobilians to enjoy in early 2026. The guide for winter and spring includes wellness initiatives like a 30-day fitness calendar highlighting the events, programs and city facilities. It also includes opportunities for local students to explore the world around them through MPRD’s upcoming science, technology, recreation, engineering, arts and mathematics (STREAM) sessions beginning in March. These recurring events will be happening alongside cultural events including a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month and its founder Dr. Carter G. Woodson. The guide also has all the information needed to register for youth sports including the baseball and softball leagues beginning in April. MPRD is also unveiling Adaptive Golf for All. This six-week clinic at the Azalea City Golf Course is designed to provide children with disabilities and special needs an inclusive opportunity to learn golf and build confidence and experience. The guide also lists hundreds of classes and activities for adults and seniors, including bingo games, wreathmaking, fishing, Zumba and music lessons.
