Moore Named New Foley High School Head Football Coach

Former Opelika head football coach Bryan Moore has named the new head football coach at Foley High School. The school board’s approval follows Moore’s recommendation by Foley High School Principal Jessica Webb. Moore has been one of the state’s most successful coaches since becoming a head football coach 11 years ago. His 79% career winning percentage, including stops at Eufaula, Jasper, Hartselle and, most recently, Opelika, are among the state’s best. His teams have won numerous regional championships and reached the playoffs every season, with Moore leading this year’s 7A Opelika team to its first appearance in the state championship game. He was also honored by Around the State Sports as Alabama’s 7A Coach of the Year for the 2025 season. Moore replaces Deric Scott, who served as the Lions’ head coach for the past six seasons.
