OWA’s Frazier Named To Women Who Shape The State List

Candice Frazier, who serves as the executive director of Revenue for OWA Parks and Resort in Foley, was among 25 women recently honored at This Is Alabama’s 12th annual Women Who Shape the State event. The Women Who Shape the State award honors those who exemplify leadership, the spirit of innovation, resilience and compassion, while demonstrating persistence and fearlessness. The 2025 class of Women Who Shape the State hail from across the state and include CEOs, civic leaders, educators, entrepreneurs and other notable women who have made their communities a better place to work and live. With nearly two decades of experience, Frazier oversees multiple revenue-generating departments at OWA. She has managed annual budgets exceeding $7.5 million, spearheaded successful business turnarounds and developed strategic partnerships that bridge the gap between corporate success and community impact. With a passion for music, she became the first African American graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in music business. She is dedicated to bringing music education to local underserved schools and mentoring young musicians through organizations like the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra. She also serves as a Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile board member.
