The Launch At County Road 6 Opens

The Launch at County Road 6 is now open to the public, FOX10 News reports. It is the only public boat launch on the Bon Secour River, and its location offers boaters strategic access to this part of the county. In addition to a double boat launch, the park has a kayak launch, fishing pier, gazebos, restrooms and walking trails. Baldwin County purchased the land in 2023 for nearly $3 million. A Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act grant of nearly $5 million dollars later that year made the project a reality.
