Third Annual Port City Football Classic To Be Held November 15

Mississippi Valley State University will host Alabama State University in the third annual Port City Classic at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on November 15. Organizers say the Port City Classic is the ultimate “party with a purpose” combining entertainment, education and African-American culture and heritage. Several events lead up to game day, including the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Golf Tournament, HBCU Summit, Southern Soul Tailgate Jam, HBCU Cheer Clinic, Port City Classic Parade and Tailgate Cookoff Competition and Concert. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
