Tropic Falls Indoor Waterpark Opens At OWA

FOLEY, Ala. — The Tropic Falls Indoor Waterpark at OWA Parks and Resort in Foley officially opened on June 29. The waterpark is the largest in the region at 100,000 ft2 and is the only one in the U.S. with a retractable roof and sidewall. The football-field-sized waterpark offers slides more than 142 feet tall, a 30,000-ft2 wave pool, a children’s water playground, an arcade and dining options. It boasts a tropical atmosphere complete with 200 palm trees; color-changing lights; and Tuki the Toucan, the park’s newest mascot.
