MMofA (Un)Settled Event To Feature Special Guests

Charles Smith, Gloria Petit-Williams and the Africatown Drummers will be at the Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) on January 18 at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The free, family-friendly event will celebrate MMofA’s exhibition (Un)Settled: The Landscape in American Art. Smith, a Mobile artist whose work is included in the exhibition, will give an “Art Talk.” Dance instructor Gloria Petit-Williams will lead traditional African Step lessons while the Africatown Drummers, with special guest appearances, perform. There will also be scavenger hunts and art activities for all ages. An (Un)Settled German tour will take place an hour prior to the event.
