Mobile Ballet To Present Peter Pan, Fundraiser

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile Ballet is presenting Peter Pan on March 26-27 at the Mobile Civic Center Theater. It features choreography by Katia Garza, an original score by composer David Ott, guest artists and video projections by Israel Rodriguez. The 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. shows on March 26 will feature a live performance of the original score by local symphony musicians led by Ott. The 2:30 p.m. show on March 27 will be accompanied by a recording of the musical performance. Additionally, a Peter Pan Tea will be held on March 13 at 2-4 p.m. at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope. The tea will include a short performance by Mobile Ballet dancers, Peter Pan storytime, a silent auction and photo opportunities. The activities are generally suited for elementary school age children, but children of all ages are welcome. Tickets for the tea, which will raise funds for the Relevé Project, Mobile Ballet’s tuition assistance program for children, are $25 each.
