First Mobile Litter-Free Leader Awarded

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Chamber and City of Mobile have presented the first Litter-Free Leader Award to John Barton of TC Boiler & Piping in Semmes. Barton and his company were chosen for their commitment to the environment and for helping create a Causeway cleanup event in May (BBN #92). City of Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson presented a certificate to them and announced a personal financial contribution to start a prize pool for the annual award winner to be spent on the business’s employees. He also challenged the Mobile Chamber’s membership to donate.
