Mobile Chamber Eagle Awards Deadline Nears

The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that its Eagle Awards applications are due on July 12 by 5 p.m. The competition is open to minority-owned businesses that have been in operation at least three years; have 100 or fewer employees; have a solid financial base; have sales growth, profit growth and/or new product line; are considered successful by peers; contribute to community service; are privately owned, for-profit entities; and are headquartered in Mobile, Baldwin or Washington counties. An independent selection committee will choose two companies to be honored at the chamber’s Eagle Awards Luncheon and Ceremony on October 8 at The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa. Winners are featured in Business View and other chamber outlets. Previous winners may reapply for the award after five years. Those interested in applying may call 251-431-8607.
