Mobile Chamber Honors Airbus, 3rd Realm

The Mobile Chamber announced two yearly awards at its 8th Annual State of the Economy event earlier this month. Airbus was named Manufacturer of the Year, and 3rd Realm Creations was named Innovator of the Year. Airbus Alabama “has changed the Mobile area’s industry landscape by opening its first commercial aircraft production site” on 53 acres, the chamber said. It produces A320-family aircraft at the $600-million location, which is also the final assembly line for A220-family aircraft. 3rd Realm explores augmented and virtual reality. It helps companies expand product lines, advertise in new ways and cross-promote businesses through various mediums via 360° live streaming, augmented reality advertising, virtual reality video gaming, virtual attractions and more.
