Mobile Chamber: More Than 2,000 New Jobs In 2023

The Mobile Chamber Economic Development team recently unveiled final numbers from the first year of the five-year Partners for Growth plan to create jobs and support a strong workforce in Mobile, The Business View reports. Partners include public and private investors who fund economic growth through the Mobile Chamber, investing for the creation of prosperity and growth for local businesses and residents. Thirteen new projects creating more than 2,000 new jobs with an average salary of $64,000 were announced in 2023. This accounts for $590 million in capital investment. The outlook for this year is strong, with 40 projects in the pipeline.
