Distinguished Young Women Finals Coming To Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — Tickets are on sale for the Distinguished Young Women’s 65th National Finals, set for June 23-25 at 7 p.m. at the Mobile Civic Center. The nonprofit national scholarship program for high school girls will award more than $1 billion in scholarships to girls in their junior or senior years. It is free for them to enter. They are evaluated in the categories of “Scholastics” (25%), “Interview” (25%), “Talent” (20%), “Fitness” (15%) and “Self-Expression” (15%). Tickets are $22 for the preliminary shows on June 23 and 24, and $44 for the finals show on June 25.
