Downtown Foley Scavenger Hunt Kicking Off Soon

Foley Main Street, Inc. is opening its Summer Fun Scavenger Hunt in Downtown Foley on July 15. Participants have until August 9 to complete the hunt. There will be 10 stops with 10 locations to find and 10 pictures to take. Participants will use the Distrx app, which will lead them to a downtown business. Once they are close to the correct business, the app will provide a beacon that will activate that stop and tell them what to do next. Those who complete all 10 will be entered into a drawing for $250. All participants will get an official Downtown Foley Beach Bum sticker, and there will be 10 $25.00 gift cards awarded for the best pictures. Each picture must be posted to Facebook or Instagram and labeled “@foleymainstreet” or hashtagged “#foleymainstreet.” All qualifying entries will be in an August 13 drawing for the cash prizes.
