The Highland Group Completes Longleaf Recovery Facility Project

The Highland Group recently announced the completion of two new Longleaf Recovery & Wellness facilities in Spanish Fort and Madison, Alabama. This expansive, multisite project is to significantly enhance treatment options for Alabamians who suffer from primary substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Longleaf Recovery Baldwin facility in Spanish Fort recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a milestone in its third location in the state. This 7,513-ft2 facility features a spacious community room, a modern dining area, versatile group rooms, well-equipped offices, a modern conference room, a welcoming reception area and an inviting outdoor patio. Similarly, the 7,352-ft2 Longleaf Recovery Huntsville facility in Madison mirrors the Baldwin facility’s comprehensive design and services. The Highland Group partnered with LIV Development; Goodwyn Mills Cawood; Sain Associates, Inc.; Hyde Engineering; Structural Design Group Inc.; and MW/Davis & Associates on the project.
