BCS To Break Ground On New Building

Bayshore Christian School (BCS) will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its Logic and Rhetoric School Campus on May 1 on its new property on County Road 13 in Fairhope, it announced. The Christian, classical school’s new upper-school campus sits on 46 acres and will feature an academic building of roughly 28,000 ft2 with classrooms, a library, a gathering space, science labs and an art studio. A gym, athletic fields and a worship and performing arts center are planned for future construction. A team of BCS board members and administrators has been working with McKee and Associates on the master site plan and the design of the academic building since BCS purchased the property in November 2018. Fulcrum Construction of Daphne has been preparing the site and construction plans for the new facility, which is scheduled to open in fall 2024. BCS Grammar School (pre-K through 6th grade) will continue at its present location, 316 Presbyterian Drive in Fairhope, on the campus of Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church.
