Elderly Nutrition Program Available In Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — The Alabama Elderly Nutrition Program, which provides seniors 60 years old and older with hot, nutritious lunches, is now available at several City of Mobile community and senior centers. Hillsdale Community Center, Thomas Sullivan Community Center, Parkway Senior Center and Tricksey Senior Center are all participating in the program, which is funded by a South Alabama Regional Planning Commission grant. The Area Agency on Aging, a Mobile-based nonprofit, partners with the city to offer the aid, which includes transportation up to a 4-mi. radius.
