Gulf Shores Chooses Hertz

The City of Gulf Shores has announced that, in preparation for Gulf Shores International Airport’s launch of Allegiant service to six destinations on May 21, it has chosen Hertz as its first rental car concessionaire. Hertz will provide services under both the Hertz and Dollar rental car brands. In addition, the airport has finalized an agreement with ParkMobile, which provides smart parking solutions. ParkMobile, already used throughout Gulf Shores, is to provide a smooth transition for visitors familiar with the system while enhancing airport efficiency. “The addition of Hertz and ParkMobile is just the beginning. We are actively working to develop more ground transportation options and services that will cater to the needs of our customers,” said Jesse Fosnaugh, airport director.
