Long-Range Baldwin County Transportation Plan Survey Open

The Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization, the primary transportation planner in Baldwin County, is looking for public input in forming its next Long Range Transportation Plan, AL.com reports. Baldwin County residents are encouraged to fill out a survey throughout September on the transportation needs they think are most important. That input will go into the formation of the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan, which outlines priority projects and budgetary constraints for the county over the next 25 years. The plan aims to incorporate technical analysis, intergovernmental cooperation and public engagement to address the region’s transportation needs. The survey asks respondents to share their concerns on a range of transportation issues: roads, public transportation, freight transit and bicycle/pedestrian paths. Respondents can also map areas of congestion or where maintenance is needed.
