Mobile County Commission Ratifies Contracts

The Mobile County Commission authorized several contracts in a recent meeting, Call News reports. As expected, there was the acceptance of a $3.5-million grant for Mobile County Commission Public Access Master Plan Implementation (BBN #3). Newer approved items were a contract to Tindle Construction LLC for office improvements at the Eight Mile License Commission at $145,518, a contract with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama for restroom upgrades and replacement of the gym floor at its Semmes branch at $40,000, and a contract with the Semmes Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for the purchase of playground equipment for the school at $15,000.
