Mobile Transit System Schedules Job Fairs

The City of Mobile’s Wave Transit System will host two job fairs for fixed-route operators and mobility drivers in early June. The first job fair for these open positions is scheduled for June 5 at 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Wave Maintenance and Operation Facility at 1224 West I-65 Service Road. The second is to be held on June 7 at 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the GM&O Transportation Center at 110 Beauregard Street, Suite 104. Mobility drivers help transport disabled citizens, and fixed-route operators serve Wave riders on one of the system’s existing routes.
