Semmes Annexes 12 Properties

The City of Semmes recently annexed 12 properties at its council meeting last week, Call News reports. City Planner Jeffery McKee said meetings showing the benefits of annexation have helped boost interest in joining the city. “I think it’s because of a mixture of the services we’re providing, as well as the meetings we’ve had,” he said. The properties include four businesses, BA Semmes Storage LLC at 2001 Schillinger Road North, 9645 Moffett Road (expansion of the Semmes Senior Center), 9646 Moffett Road and 5660 McCrary Road, owned by Dale A. Cavage. The other eight properties are residential.
