Baldwin Bone & Joint Adds Spine Surgeon

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Spine surgeon Dr. Matthew Pollard has joined the Baldwin Bone & Joint Spine Institute team. Pollard comes from St. Francis Spine Center in Columbus, Georgia, and previously served as an orthopedic spine surgeon at the Spine Center in Fishersville, Virginia, and West End Orthopedic Clinic in Richmond, Virginia. Pollard holds an MD from the University of South Carolina and completed his residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. He received his fellowship training from Boston’s New England Baptist Hospital. He also holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the South Carolina Honors College. He is board certified in both spine surgery by the American Board of Spine Surgery and orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
