Gulf Orthopaedics Adds Physician

Dr. Albert “Jay” Savage, IV, a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, recently joined Gulf Orthopaedics in Mobile. Savage received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine with Santa Monica Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in California. He is a member of the Alabama Orthopaedic Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Savage is the team physician for the Bayside Academy Admirals and has also served as the assistant team physician for the LA Galaxy and Pepperdine University.
