Infirmary Medical Clinics opened the Thomas Hospital Internal Medicine Clinic in Fairhope in late September, according to the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. This clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with chronic medical conditions such as COPD, diabetes, heart disease and endocrine issues, and the doctors will guide patients in health promotion and disease prevention. Thomas Hospital Internal Medicine Clinic is an integral part of the internal medicine residency program it established. These resident physicians will see patients and provide care in the clinic under the direction of supervising physicians.
