Jefferson Joins Franklin Primary Health

MOBILE, Ala. — Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. recently hired Dr. Richelle Jefferson to the Franklin Medical Mall on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in Mobile. She joins Franklin after completing her family medicine residency at the University of South Alabama, where she served as chief resident. After graduating in kinesiology from Louisiana State University, Jefferson completed her master’s in biology at Mississippi College. In 2019, Jefferson received her doctorate of medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has also volunteered with medical missions to Honduras, where she worked in an El Salvadorian clinic that served the community with little to no resources. There, she provided healthcare to hundreds of individuals who lacked routine access to vital healthcare. This experience inspired Jefferson to focus on improving health outcomes for the medically underserved in Mobile.
