Sugg Joins Southern Eye Group

Southern Eye Group has announced the expansion of its pediatric ophthalmology team with the addition of Dr. Joseph Sugg, Jr. Bringing more than 20 years of experience, Sugg specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus treatment. A native of Dothan, Sugg earned his DM from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee and pursued a specialized fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. Sugg will be serving patients at Southern’s Daphne, Midtown Mobile and West Mobile offices.
