Thomas Hospital Earns High-Performance Ranking

Thomas Hospital, an affiliate of Infirmary Health, has earned recognition as “High Performing” by U.S. News & World Report in its 2023-24 Best Hospitals rankings and ratings for “Heart Attack,” “Colon Cancer Surgery” and “Knee Replacement.” Thomas Hospital offers the only open-heart surgery program in Baldwin County. Additionally, it also boasts the county’s only Commission on Cancer Accredited cancer program, Infirmary Cancer Care, with surgical, radiation and medical oncology. Thomas Hospital is also home to Colony Rehabilitation Hospital, a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities-accredited facility, which provides inpatient rehabilitation care for patients. In 2022, Thomas Hospital delivered more than 1,500 babies, more than any other hospital in Baldwin County. U.S. News & World Report generates hospital rankings by evaluating data on nearly 5,000 hospitals.
