USA Health Approved For Renovation

Al.com reports that USA Health recently received state approval for a $15 million renovation project that will add more than 60 beds and upgrade other features at University Hospital in Mobile. The Alabama Certificate of Need Review Board has approved a plan to renovate the building’s 10th and 11th floors. The work will add “state-of-the-art medical/surgical and critical care patient suites” on each floor. Each floor will get two isolation rooms, four patient rooms compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act and “associated nursing stations and common areas.” Plans call for the renovation to start before the end of 2020 and be finished before the end of 2021.
