USA Health, Unitedhealthcare Contract Negotiations Extended

USA Health and UnitedHealthcare have agreed to extend contract negotiations for 30 days. The extension allows UnitedHealthcare members to maintain in-network access to care at USA Health University Hospital and USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital during ongoing negotiations. The contracts between UnitedHealthcare and USA Health University Hospital and Children’s & Women’s Hospital were scheduled to expire September 30. Under the extension, UnitedHealthcare commercial and Medicare Advantage plans will remain in network at both hospitals until November 1 while discussions continue.
