Cunningham Bounds Wins $2-Million Injury Case

Mobile-based personal injury firm Cunningham Bounds recently announced its win of a $2-million verdict by a Mobile County jury in favor of Admire Gant, a sheriff’s deputy injured on the job on January 29, 2018, when a Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. truck crashed into the back of his service vehicle on the Bayway (covered by outlets including FOX10). Only the deputy was injured in that his preexisting spinal retrolisthesis was aggravated. The firm notes that the verdict is one of only a handful of plaintiff verdicts in the U.S. since jury trials were suspended in March due to the pandemic. Robert L. Mitchell and Lucy E. Tufts tried the case.
