Local Lawyer Achieves Recertification As A Civil Trial Advocate

The National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) recently announced that attorney Joe Zarzaur, founder and lead attorney at Zarzaur Law, P.A., has successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial advocate. NBTA aims to create an objective set of standards illustrating an attorney’s experience and expertise in the practice of trial law. All NBTA board-certified attorneys must complete a screening of credentials that includes demonstration of substantial trial experience, submission of judicial and peer references to attest to their competency, attendance of continuing legal education courses and proof of good standing. NBTA originally selected Zarzaur as a member in 2011. He has been a continuous NBTA member and served as president of its local chapter. He has also been board certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial since 2010.
