Outside Chief Legal Adds Lancaster

Outside Chief Legal LLC of Mobile has announced the addition of attorney William “Bill” Lancaster to its legal team as litigator and executive. With more than 40 years of litigation expertise, he has tried more than 100 jury and non-jury cases to judgment in Alabama and Mississippi. He also advises businesses and owners as outside counsel, specializing in employment-related issues. As a qualified mediator and arbitrator, he regularly mediates cases. Lancaster graduated with honors from Millsaps College with a BA in history, and was involved in various honor societies. He earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law, serving as vice-chairman of the Moot Court Board and participating in the Federal Trial Practice Clinic. Lancaster’s legal career began in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he practiced in various areas of civil, criminal and administrative law. He later focused on defending civil damage claims arising from automobile accidents, industrial accidents and medical negligence cases. Since moving to Mobile in 1991, he has continued to represent clients in diverse civil claims, including medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and employment disputes. Active in the Alabama State Bar and Mobile Bar Association, Lancaster has served on the Board of Bar Commissioners of the Alabama State Bar for several years.
