PRCA Mobile Chapter To Host Rogers

The Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) Mobile Chapter will host “Plan for the Event You Want, Prepare for the One You Don’t Expect” on September 26 at 8-9:30 a.m. at The Continental Kitchen at 260 Azalea Road in Mobile. Dave Rogers, director of marketing and brand strategy for the Reese’s Senior Bowl, will present on how his team balances public relations from national media to local media to the players and provide tips to use when planning an event. Rogers joined the Senior Bowl staff in February 2019 and is responsible for all marketing, branding strategy and communications. He is the liaison for public relations and advertising agencies, creative content production, print vendor relations, national network media relations and large-format event productions. He came to Mobile from the University of Florida football program. Before Florida, he spent 13 years with the University of Utah athletic department, where he received his bachelor’s degree in communication and completed his tenure as director of football media.
