Today’s Homeowner Seeking Volunteers For Battleship Project

Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford is seeking volunteers for its Community Service Project, taking place June 5-8 at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Those who wish to help can do so by volunteering their time and skills or donating supplies, materials and money. Some of the materials and expertise needed for the project include lunches and snacks for volunteers, drinking water, a sponsorship for project T-shirts, landscaper expertise and materials and electricians. During this community service episode, a crew of home improvement experts and professionals will work on the following projects: cleaning and beautifying the grounds, refreshing and repairing memorials, upgrading the landscaping on the grounds and repainting the bow of the USS Alabama. The project will be filmed for a special episode of the show, which will air across 91% of the U.S., reaching more than 2 million viewers. Following the June 5-8 taping, the episode will air the week of July 10.
