Chili Cook-Off to Benefit American Cancer Society

The 35th-annual American Cancer Society Chili Cook-off is being held in Downtown Mobile on Canal Street between Washington and Broad streets in Mobile on March 9 beginning at 11 a.m. Cook-off winners will be announced at 3 p.m. All funds will go toward transportation costs for the nonprofit’s Road to Recovery Program, which helps cancer patients get rides to doctors’ appointments and treatments. The Kids Corner will return, and special guests are the Azalea Trail Maids. Hosts are the American Cancer Society and Infirmary Health. Tickets are $15, and sponsorships are available.
