Family Promise Benefit Coming Up

Family Promise of Baldwin County is holding the 17th Annual Chocolate Affair on December 5 at 6-9 p.m. at the Daphne Civic Center. The signature fundraising event for the nonprofit will feature food from local chefs, a silent auction, a live auction and chocolate All Proceeds benefit Family Promise’s mission to provide temporary shelter, transitional housing, related services and nurturing support to families with children experiencing homelessness and to assist them with obtaining suitable and permanent housing. “2024 has been a year of continued growth,” the nonprofit said. “We have maintained our core programs and pursued the expansion of our Transitional Housing Program. This initiative will provide working families of Baldwin County with 15 additional rental homes, at or below fair market rent, and an opportunity to benefit from case management.”
