Ground Broken On Ministry Home In Summerdale

The Baldwin Times reports that Youth-Reach Gulf Coast has broken ground on a new transitional-living home in Summerdale. Including the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, the ceremony kicked off construction on a six-bedroom, four-bath duplex facility with two 1,600-ft2 family-living quarters with two full kitchens and living areas. The facility will allow the nonprofit residential ministry to better serve graduates by providing extended support to help young men aged 18-22 to transition back into mainstream society. It is located on the ministry’s 81-acre campus east of Summerdale. Plans are for completion within nine months.
