Nonprofit Summit Announced For July

MOBILE, Ala. — The South Alabama Nonprofit Summit is taking place on July 26 at 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the University of South Alabama Student Center. The event aims to provide locally organized, high-quality, affordable professional development for the nonprofit sector. Seminar tracks focus on board membership, finance/fund development, communications and advanced issues. The keynote speaker is Brooke Battle, founder and CEO of Swell Fundraising. Battle will speak on "The Nonprofit Edit: Clearing a Path to Personal Wellness," outlining both big and small steps nonprofit leaders can take to create space, reduce stress and build a team culture that protects mental well-being. Registration is $70.
