Orange Beach Garden Club To Host Fundraiser

The Orange Beach Garden Club has planned its 38th Annual Game Day and Salad Luncheon fundraiser for February 11 at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf, OBA announced. The event combines casual tabletop games with homemade food and friendly competition. The theme is “Red, White, and Bloom,” chosen to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Decorations and table settings are expected to reflect a patriotic and floral look, connecting the club’s gardening mission with the national milestone. Guests are encouraged to bring their friends and favorite game. The public is invited to attend, whether they come with a full table of players or join others upon arrival. The salad luncheon and desserts will be prepared by club members. There will also be door prizes and other giveaways. Proceeds will support community needs across Orange Beach, including the police and fire departments, local schools and scholarships. The event also helps maintain the Backcountry Trail butterfly garden, supports the Orange Beach Wildlife Center, and funds beautification programs and community projects that enhance the city’s appearance. Tickets are $35 and on sale at The Emporium Gift Shop in the Orange Beach Rouse’s Shopping Center on Beach Road and the Orange Beach Public Library at 26267 Canal Road.
