Poarch Creek Indians Awarded By Scouting America

The Poarch Creek Indians announced the tribe has been selected as a 2025 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award honoree by the Scouting America – Mobile Area Council. The national award honors individuals and organizations that have demonstrated outstanding service in creating and implementing opportunities for youth from all backgrounds—especially those from rural or low-income urban communities. “The Poarch Creek Indians join a distinguished group of honorees whose impact continues to shape a brighter, more inclusive future for young people across the nation,” said William Bryant, scout executive/CEO of Scouting America – Mobile Area Council. “Their commitment to empowering youth and expanding access to meaningful programs exemplifies the very best of what this award represents.”
