UWSWA Announces Mardi Gras Social

United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) Emerging Leaders has announced the return of its annual Mardi Gras Social. Scheduled for February 6 at 4:30-6:30 p.m. at UWSWA at 218 Saint Francis Street in Downtown Mobile, the event immediately precedes the Order of LaShe’s parade. It is open to all ages and free, but pre-registration is required. There will be a taco bar courtesy of Taco Mama and beverages provided by Gulf Distributing Co. The Emerging Leaders program, catering to young professionals aged 21 to 40, is dedicated to enhancing the community’s quality of life through volunteer work and philanthropic initiatives. This social serves as a platform to further unite and engage individuals in these efforts. For more information, contact Lauren Luckie-Merz at email or phone: 251-219-3443.
