Walk To End Alzheimer’s Recruitment Drive

The Alzheimer’s Association Alabama Chapter has kicked off team recruitment for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The first 100 team captains to join by February 14 will receive a “Team Captain” baseball T-shirt. This year’s Mobile Bay Walk will be on November 12 at Spring Hill College. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the walk is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It calls on participants of all ages and abilities. Though there is no fee for registration, all participants are encouraged to raise funds leading up to the race. Money gained will allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and a cure.
