In Gulf Shores, Surfside Pizza & Ice Cream has opened in leased space at 520 West Beach Boulevard, according to David Swiger and Angie Swiger of Swiger and Co. Realtors. Nearby, Alvin’s Island souvenir and beach merchandise at 100 West Beach Boulevard is seeking permission to install a 27-foot-long great white shark at store site. Also in Gulf Shores, Legendary Marine is seeking to amend the Bon Secour Village master plan to develop a 45-slip marina on the Intracoastal Waterway off Baldwin County 4, according to the Gulf Shores Planning Commission. The project would include 750 dry boat storage units, a restaurant, a clubhouse and future mixed-use areas.
