According to AL.com, investors paid $782,000 for the Dollar General store off Highway 98 in the Barnwell community outside Fairhope city limits, according to Pratt Thomas of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who represented the buyers. The 9,014-ft2 store was built in 2005 and will continue to operate at that location. Andrew Chason of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller. Another, 10,640-ft2 Dollar General is to be built on 1.22 acres at the corner of William Street and Gulf Shores Parkway in Gulf Shores, according to the Gulf Shores Planning Commission. In Spanish Fort, 27 single-family home lots in the Cambron subdivision at Highway 31 and Cambron Trail will be offered for sale at an absolute auction (no minimum bid) on June 26 at 10 a.m. at Cambron, according to Gadsden, Alabama-based International Auction.
