Figures Park Closed For Painting

MOBILE, Ala. — The outside basketball court at Figures Park (658 Donald Street) in Mobile closed on April 11 for two weeks as crews began work to repaint the court, according to Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson. This update to the court is one of the multiple improvements the City of Mobile has made or will be making throughout the park, including the opening of the Floretta Fortune Walking Trail, improvements to the pool house and an upcoming lighting upgrade to the baseball field. While the basketball court is closed for painting, residents can still use the outdoor court at Herndon-Sage Park (2900 Dauphin Street).
