The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame recently announced that Mobile native Willie Anderson has been named to the Class of 2021. Anderson was born July 11, 1975, in Mobile and played offensive tackle at Auburn University in 1993-1995 and was an All-American and two-time All-SEC. He was selected 10th overall in the 1996 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. A four-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro selection, Anderson played 12 seasons with the Bengals and his final season with the Ravens in 2008. He played in 195 games, starting 184.
